According to Jay King of the Athletic, Boston Celtics star point guard Kyrie Irving will miss the team’s game Wednesday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers for , the annoyingly increasing used term, “load management.”
His colleague at The Athletic, Joe Vardon, had an interesting take observation on Irving’s absence tomorrow.
Jayson Tatum and Al Horford are listed as questionable, while Robert Williams is doubtful.
Playing the Cavaliers , even sans Kyrie could help the Celtics get back in the win column. They have been just 6-10 since the All-Star break and their recent play has them more likely on track for an early playoff exit and not a NBA Finals run.
